capturing video to pc

How do I get windows movie maker to show the time & date at the bottom of my
screen when I am capturing film to my computer? I need this as I am filming
my new grand daughter as she grows up & Iwant to be able to see the dates as
things develop.

you camcorder may have a feature to add it as it records.... Movie Maker
doesn't.
