Captions don't show up in table of figures when in a textbox

In my document I have a lot of figures, under all of them I inserted a figure
caption. Some of these captions are written in a textbox (there I have text
around the figure and don't want to much white between the text above and
under the caption). I can't refer to these captions in a textbox and they
also don't show up in my table of figures. What can I do about it?

Convert the text boxes to frames -- there's a button for that in the Format
Text Box dialog.

Text boxes are in the drawing layer, which is why the table field can't see
them. Frames are in the text layer.

Take them out of the textboxes. Why do you have them in textboxes? If you're
concerned about keeping the captions with the pictures, apply a style to the
pictures (must be formatted as inline with text), and use Keep with next so
the picture sticks with the caption.

Oke, found the answer myself already. If you use frame instead of textboxes
for the caption in will work. Toolbar forms, then insert frame.
