Caption - Change sequential field numbers

I need to start caption numbering at Table 1.0 not 1.1. How do I change the
field
numbering to do this. I have tried to toggle the fields but can only change
it to 0.1.

The first 1 of the 1.1 that you are getting is coming from the Chapter
Number. If you uncheck the include Include chapter number box, you will get
just 1. Then if you toggle the field codes and replace the \* ARABIC with
\# 0.0 you will then get numbers of the form 1.0, 2.0. To facilitate their
use, you could create an autotext entry for it.
