caps lock german keyboard

I bought laptop with german keyboard layout..
But I found that when I press the caps lock then
everything is shift including number.. How can I change
it?

Not familiar with German keyboards but you may not be able to change this.
It may be hard-coded into the keyboard. Have you tried using the number pad
instead? Since it is a laptop, you'll probably need to press yet another
key to activate a portion of the keyboard for this use.
