CANT WATCH BURNED CD PICS

hello
i was able to copy and burn pics on my comp and watch them on my home dvd player
i restored my comp last week ,and burned some home pics onto a cd but i cant watch them on my home dvd player

what changed ?, i have not changed the type of cd i was using before or after my proble
please help

Some DVD players will not play VCD's. Have you been able to play VCD's on
your DVD Player before? Are you finalizing the CD?
