Can't view pdf attachments

Hi,

I've got Acrobat Reader 8.1 installed with Vista Home Premium.

When I try to open a pdf email attachment from within Windows Mail I get the
following error message:

'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.'

I've checked the associations and pdf's should open with Acrobat Reader 8.1.

If I save the pdf and then double click it then it will open as it should do
in Acrobat.

Any ideas why I can't open pdfs from within Windows Mail?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
