can't view certain sites

I can't view certain secured sites that i previously
could.I can still view on other computers.

i could be way off here, but a friend of mine had a
similar prob, it tended to be when the page used
javascripts, u maybe want to download java from sun or go
to windows updates, i think there is a java fix there

Lan Settings - Proxy Server - Disable (Line 253)

Manual: IE/Tools/Internet Options/Connections/Lan Settings. Uncheck Use a
proxy server.....

Rename your hosts file: Go to: Windows\System32\DRIVERS\etc.
