Can't use "Show Source"

B

BarryG

I recently loaded IE6, and now if I right click on a page
and select "show source" to view the HTML code, nothing
happens. No errors, nada, zip, zilch, nothing.
I worked OK when I had IE5.5 sp2.
I can use the button on the top to Edit the page, and
select Notepad and view the html that way, but it would
ber nice if the right click short cut worked.
Can anyone offer a solution?

Thanks.

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.

I do have a shortcut to Notepad on my desktop!

I'll give it a try at home tonight and let you know how I
go.

.

Frank,

You're a legend!

I renamed the Desktop shortcut to Notepad, and now the
right click shortcut to View Source works.

Take 2 stars from petty cash.

Thanks,
BarryG
