can't update flash in a non-admin user account

I updated to flash 9 recently on my machine using my admin account but the
update doesn't work in non-admin accounts. The result is that it is
impossible to use youtube.com from these accounts. When triyng to update
from the internet, it's just a blank screen with a red X as if a picture was
missing and if I use an offline installer, it says it must be done with an
admin account. Is flash reserved to administrators?

Everything works fine in the admin account

I don't know about flash but you could temporarily change the limited
account to an admin account, update flash, then change it back.

If the Flash Player update is not installed properly, then when you are
logged on as a limited user and try to verify the installation it should
fail. Here is a link to verify your installation :
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ . (This works for both Flash
Player and Shockwave). If there are problems with the update, you may want
to check with Adobe online forums or FAQs. Try this link:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?forumid=15&catid=194&entercat=y
..
Does the installation fail with all your limited user accounts or just a few
of them ?

I triyed that, I can now proceed both with the online and the offline
installation in my limited accounts but then I must restart the computer to
complete the install after I see the little animation that confirms
everything went fine.

After reboot, nothing changed, flash is not installed. If I go back to
adobe site, it's like nothing happenned and I must go throught the whole
process once again.
