I've had this happen twice now on my network (about 70 Windows XP
clients)...a user locks his computer (Ctrl+Alt+Del, then Enter) and goes to
lunch. When he comes back and tries to unlock the computer, the user and
password fields are grayed out so that he can't enter anything. The only was
out we can find is to physically power down the machine.
Any ideas as to what might cause this, or an alternative to powering down?
The machines are all Windows XP SP2. Other software includes Office 2003
Professional, AutoCAD 2006, and PatchLink. The network servers arae all
Windows 2000.
Thanks
