Open an elevated Command Prompt. To do so, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. Type the following command and press ENTER:
mshta.exe "res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\TweakUI.exe/uninstall.hta"
The above is the Uninstall string for TweakUI PowerToy (for Windows XP). If that does not help, you may uninstall TweakUI PowerToy manually using these steps:
1. Open Windows Explorer and browse the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs
2. Delete the subfolder named "Powertoys for Windows XP"
3. Browse the C:\Windows\System32 folder, and delete these two files:
a. TweakUI.exe
b. PowerToysLicense.rtf
4. Start Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and navigate to this branch:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall]
5. Select the subkey named "Tweak UI 2.10", export it to a REG file and delete the branch.
6. Exit the Registry Editor.
TweakUI v2.10 is now removed from your system.

Since I installed the upgrade version of Vista home premium, I realized that
my Tweakui for XP would not work with Vista. No problem... however, Vista
will not let me uninstall it saying it only works with XP. I know this.
Does anyone know how I can uninstall it? I don't want to delete the folder.
I want to remove it from the computer entirely and properly.
Thanks for any help
