This is a long post, so read carefully :?)
Did you try and go to the Start button>All Programs,
and look to see if what you want to delete is in that
list? If it is, go into the menu, and just check to see if
there is an Uninstall .exe program there. Sometimes that
will work.
Your best bet would be to go to www.techtv.com and in
the Search box, type in RegCleaner; also have it search
entire site, and all dates. This is a small registry
cleaner program that is super easy to use. There are
several tabs (software, start up, uninstall, backups,
etc.). In the Uninstall tab you will see all your
installed programs and uninstall from there. You can also
remove any programs from the list that won't come off in
Windows Control Panel that you know you don't have
anymore. Next go into the Software tab and check, then
remove any software, or bits of left over programs you are
sure you do not have anymore. Lastly, go to the top menu
bar and go into Tools>Registry Cleanup> (everything next
is in this menu!)and click Do Them All. B4 you do this,go
into the Options menu>Registry Cleanup. Go into Method and
check Automatic, next go to Backups and check Create Only
1 Backup, next go into OLE Cleaner and check Extra
Powerful.
This is an awesome, free program. I use it about once a
month, just to clean up an make things run better.
Good Luck
