cant uninstal java!!!

please help me!! I accidentially uninstalled a progrma and java at the same
time..dont ask me how. but now when i try and download java it says i already
have a copy installed. i found what it said,tried to uninstal and...nothing!!
i couldnt do it!!! why? i treid restarting my comp too. any ideas? need
advice quick! thanks.

First look in task manager, Ctrl+Alt+Delete, under Processes tab do you see
a process called jusched.exe or similiar? If so right click and end process.
Now try to remove Sun Java from add/remove programs. If it doesn't work go
to C:\Program Files and delete the Java folder. Next go to C:\Documents and
Settings, Click the folder with your username, Open Application Data, Open
Sun, Delete the Java folder there. Next go to C:\Windows\Temp and delete
every thing there. You have to have Administrative rights to do this. If you
don't then find someone who does. Reboot computer and download/Install
latest Sun Java.

thanks for that. in the end i had to wipe my computer and start with a clean
drive. it was the only way i could uninstall the java. :-( oh well,ya live
and learn i guess..
