Java runtime

I'm having trouble installing Java 22 runtime. The message is that
the Java wizard is interrupted before it completed, so try again. I've
already tried many times. I also discovered that Java 21 didn't
install properly and will not uninstall. I don't see anything to help
me on the Java site. Any ideas?

That appeared to work, in that it reported that 6/21 had been removed.
Unfortunately, add/delete programs does not agree. Trying to remove
6/21 with a-d progs gives 'fatal error during installation'. Trying
to reinstall /21 gives 'another version already installed. Use a-d
progs to remove'. Thanks for trying.

I solved this problem by completely uninstalling Java 21 by using the
Revo Uninstaller, a piece of freeware that is highly rated by its
users. Java 22 is now installed.
