Can't type at all in the address line, nor will the close button respond

I've got one computer in my office that won't let me type
anywhere in IE 6. I can't type in the address line nor in
any search boxes. In addition the close box will not
respond when clicked on, but the minimize and maximize
buttons do. When I close down IE with the task manager
the keyboard works fine everywhere else. Please Help!
