Can't stream anymore with WMP

I used to be able to listen to live audio-streams with Windows Media Player
just fine, but for some reason it stopped working! I'm on a wireless
network using a DSL router and I've tried disabling my antivirus software
and turning off the Windows Firewall but it didn't help. I'm still able to
stream using Real player, so I don't think it's a security, or network
problem, plus the fact that WMP used to work just fine, under the same
system configuration. It wouldn't be a big deal, but some streaming sources
don't offer a "RealPlayer" choice. I hate "RealPlayer"!

Can someone help?

Thank you,
Ray

Ray, If you have difficulty playing streaming media files on Web pages
when using a Netscape browser, you may need to reinstall the Windows
Media Player Plug-In for Netscape. To install the plug-in, see the
Windows Media Technologies Download Center at the Microsoft Web site. I
hope this helps.

Thanks James, but I don't use Netscape, I use IE! Maybe I should try
Netscape, it's been a long time since I last used it!

Try going into Tools --> Options of Windows Media Player and then click
on the Network tab. Under the Streaming Protocols section, make sure
that all of them are checked. Maybe that might fix it.
