Can't stream audio with WMP

I used to be able to stream radio stations using WMP but it doesn't work
anymore! I can stream using Real Player, but not all radio stations give
you that choice, a lot of them only offer streaming using WMP. This is a
brand new homebuilt computer with a fresh WinXP install and I have two other
computers on my wireless network and they won't stream either. I've tried
every setting I can think of, I've tried turning off the firewall, disabling
my virus protection, etc., and nothing works.

I'm starting to think it might have something to do with my ISP, is it
possible that they have something configured wrong on their servers that
won't allow WMP to work? I live in a small country town on the Oregon coast
and when I called their support line, they didn't even know what "streaming"
was. Like I said, it used to work, but a few months after I moved here, it
just stopped working one day.

Anyone have any ideas?
