cant send or receive mail~~

just recently restoreed my PC to its origianl content and done the email
thing..added account and all..but when i try to send or receive emails i get
following error
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'klint and evelin',
Server: 'pop.embarqmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Why are you using port 995 & SSL? I don't see where they are required on
the website.
try changing the Incoming (POP) port to 110, and Outgoing (SMTP) to port 25
uncheck the SSL option

Instructions for Outlook Express should work under Windows Mail also.
