Where do i go to put smtp? what is my smtp? i have att wireless card! cant
send messages! not good at this stuff learning!! where n how do you change ip
address?

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject '$670 / 2br -
Clean TwoBedroom TwoBathroom Rowhouse with 1Car Garage & Washer & Dryer
(Auburn)', Account: '68.56.245.221', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.1.0 Authentication required', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

Do you subscribe to Comcast Internet service? I so, use these settings:

http://www.comcast.com/Customers/FAQ/FaqDetails.ashx?Id=2288

Note that the outgoing server now requires port 587 rather than port 25.
Also, "My server requires authentication" must be checked.
Although those instructions were written for Outlook Express,
Windows Mail uses the same settings.

not good at this stuff learning!!

Uh-huh. Stick to your cellphone, Brad.
