Hi... My email will not send to any domain except my own. So I can
successfully send myself email, but no one else. I have been using the
program for six weeks with my anti-virus, Trendmicro, successfully. I can
move and delete my messages left in my outbox. It applies to all messages
except my own domain's.

Here is the message I receive:
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'Re: CRMF
Desig Letter', Account: 'pop-server.roadrunner.com', Server:
'smtp-server.roadrunner.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 relaying
mail to anywhere.com is not allowed', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Many thanks for your help. Tracey

That error message means you were trying to send through
RoadRunner's SMTP server while connected to the Internet
through a different service than RoadRunner.
Were you using a laptop away from home? If so, use webmail
to send when away from home.

Hi Gary,
I'm using a laptop at home. Like the posts above mine, everything was
working fine until yesterday morning. There are no other servers involved and
my wireless is turned off. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Also, I've tried clicking on the authentication buttons, back and forth.
Nothing works.

You might check if you're supposed to use a different RoadRunner server:

550 Relaying errors:

If you have verified that your Internet connection is from RoadRunner,
and the option "My server requires authentication" is enabled, then
the only other cause I can think of is a temporary server malfunction.
Until that is fixed, send via RoadRunner's webmail or get a free
Gmail account.
