Can't send e.mails

I'm receiving the following message:

--------------------
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'mensaje
de prueba', Account: 'mail.tonymojena.com', Server: 'mail.tonymojena.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 relay not permitted', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I am having the same problem I can send out using a web based email but not
through Windows Live. It kicks the email into the Outbox and then chokes when
asked to send it from the Outbox. I have Vista. Earley

Please post your error message (don't assume it is the same as the original
poster's) - if you don't see an error message, click the Sync button while
the message is in your Outbox. That should produce one.

Make sure you have send authentication enabled.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
Enable the "My server requires authentication" option.

Define what you mean by "chokes". Sorry, we can't diagnose based
on colorful phrases.
Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.

I am having the same problem. When I called my wowway they said all my
settings were good and to contact Microsoft. I don't know how to do that.

Do you get an error message when you try to send or receive? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
