can't send fax, always pending, and no dialing sound

i can go to the very final step, preview is fine, just can't sent out the
fax. It is pending forever, even without dialing noise.
I checked the fax printer status, it is online. Everything is fine, i can;t
fix it.

Use hyperterminal to dial a number and check if the modem and telephone line
are fine.
If it works fine then do a "net stop fax" and "net start fax" on command
line and check if the fax is sent.
Else check for event logs in eventvwr.

First, you must use a dialup modem and not be online (the internet).
Your fax app will need to use your phone to dial the fax number. Capish?
Second, you cannot fax using high speed DSL or cable without additional
apps.

Sounds like my problem, see message XP Home only faxes at startup. Do yours
transmit when you reboot and log in again?
