I can't send email from Outlook 2007. I can receive email but when I click
the send button the email just sits in the outbox. I can send email from my
carrier, Bellsouth.net, just fine. I've received comments that emails were
received weeks after I had originally sent them with the present date on
them. Please help! I can't run a business like this!

How about a little more detail. Any error messages? Your comments about
'bellsouth.net' suggest that you don't, normally, use their email service.
So whose email service are you using?

WOW internet service is updating their service and I haven't been able to
send or receive files all night. I don't know if you are using them.

I'm not receiving an error message. When I open Outlook there is a message
in the lower right corner of the screen that says "Preparing to
send/receive..." but that's it. It doesn't matter if I have Outlook open
for 2 minutes or 2 days, it still says "Preparing..." and the emails just
sit in the outbox. I use Bellsouth.net for my emails. When I send directly
from bellsouth, the emails go immediately. I have checked the settings and
even deleted and re-entered the settings for bellsouth to interface with
Outlook. I'm not sure I'm using the correct terminology but I hopes this
gives you the information you were looking for to help. Thanks in advance!
