can't send e mails

I just set up my g mail to link to my windows email. I recive but can not
send this is my error.
The connection to the server has failed. Subject '', Account: 'Google',
Server: 'www.google.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Wrong mail server name, wrong port. Use the settings specified by Gmail:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=86383

I have done evrything and still cant get it to work... this is my error

Wrong SMTP mail server name. Change www.google.com to smtp.gmail.com.
Make sure all your account settings (including server names) agree with
the directions at that Google link I gave you.

I know I sound like I don't know what I am doing but, I have followed
everything to the "T" and I still can't get it. My server is
stmp.gmail.com.... am I supose to me a pop????

The incoming (POP3) server should be pop.gmail.com.
The outgoing (SMTP) server should be smtp.gmail.com (not stmp.gmail.com).

If you still get an error message with those server names, post your new
error message here.
