Can't Send E-mail

I am using Windows XP with SP2 and Outlook as my mail
app. When I create an e-mail and hit send button the mail
shows up in the out box but the title is not italicized.
When I try to send the e-mail, Outlook responds as if the
message has already been sent. I can receive e-mail so I
think My server settings are correct. Thank you. Gene

Send and receive uses different servers.
You might be better off trying an OUTLOOK newsgroup.

As Jim mentioned, this isn't the best group for your question. Post in
microsoft.public.outlook and mention your version of outlook.
