Can't send attachments

I cannot send attachments (text or photo) using Windows Mail, neither as
"new" or when "forwarding". I get a popup window saying that the message was
cancelled by my server. Sending new mail without attachments works just fine.

However, when I use my Comcast Webmail (my ISP) everything sends OK.
Sending new mail without attachments In Windows mail works just fine.

My operating system is Vista Home Premium (32 bit). Please tell me how to
resolve this issue.

How big are the attachments? Some internet providers block messages
over a certain size. You might try again with a small attachment.

What is the exact error message?
How big are the attachments?
Can you send yourself a 1 KB attachment?
