cant see web page ads!

if you think im crazy its ok i am
i cant see ads on some webpages
some are banner ads ,others are links
some boxes say "show picture" with a small x in the box
i haved scaned with s&d and also ad aware
i have a problem playing pogo games . i get a
'action cancelled" message on the web pagewhere the ads should be & the
game wont load.
any ideas???????

e machine, xp home, 2.8 celeron, 256 ram
ps..i use google pop up blocked ...but allow popups on that page
