Can't see the minimize windows on my taskbar

Maybe it is stupid but very annoying.
When I minimize the windows(or applications, exutlook).
I see nothing on my taskbar.
I am guessing it is because the left vertical bar of my
quick launch is disappeared and all the minimizing
windows go to the left of the quick launch bar.

I will greatly appreciate if anyone knows how to solve
this proble because it is really inconvenient for me now.
