Can't see "Dad" from the Slave drive!

G

Gregorio

I have transfered a Master drive from one computer and made it a slave on a
new one. I have five User accounts and one of them is named "Dad" for which
I would like to be able to access. I can' seem to get into it. (Access
Denied!!) I'm trying to get to a Security Tab which might slove my problem
but I'm having problems finding it. Can anyone help??

Thanks

Hi, Gregorio.

Try taking ownership of the files.

If the installation from which the WinXP master (now slave) came was from
Home Edition, disregard the following because HE does not allow encryption
(only Professional version of WinXP.) If any of these files were encrypted
using accounts from the old installation of WinXP, you will need to either
put the drive back in and logon as that user and decrypt the files; or you
could import the Security Certificate of Dad; or the Data Recovery Agent.
