can't see any of the windows xp computers unless i search for them

I have all the computers on the same network, same workgroup. But I can't see
the my windows xp computers unless i search for them.

Make sure the Internet Connection firewall is turned off (it
is turned on by default in SP2).

Also, open a CMD prompt and type the command

net config server /hidden:no

One of these two is usually the problem.
