Can't search knowledge base

Using IE 6.0.2 and Netscape 7.01. Neither is able to
search the MS Knowledge Base. All I get is "error on
page" on the status bar of IE.
No drop down list of Product is available either: just a
blank space.
I have tried the USA , New Zealand and Australia sites
with the same results.
All help appreciated.

Any popup, security software, firewall stopping the download?

and you from a dos prompt ping the site?

ping www.microsoft.com

Are you on DSL?
