cant save new page using fp 2000

I was hoping to get this issue resolved but have been unable to. Could it be
a browser issue. I get runtime issues. Could be due to latest microsoft
update. Any ideas?

Have your tried Detect and Repair??
FrontPage > Help > Detect and Repair.

Or maybe a reinstall of FrontPage.

I too feel this issue should have been solved...have not had a response on my last input a couple of days ago, subject "cannot save new page" ? I re-installed frontpage as well as detect & repair with no success. This is now getting old as I have a ton of work to do on my web sites and can't do it. I have not called microsoft because I don't feel I should pay for support for a problem I did not create......furthermore, I have run out of free online support-I think I have used it maybe 4-5 times in 4 years

There has to be a fix for this ?

I second that. I too have reinstalled the program and ran detect and repair
as well. Is there a patch avaiable. I have added all the latest updates
from microsoft as well. Is there a patch available.

Hi Folks,

I have seen this on occasion on computers that are left on continuously..If
you leave yours on all the time..try shutting down totally and then
rebooting and see if that helps.

I shut my computer down every night & I have it set up to sleep if I have been away from it for a certain amount of time, its not on more than 8 hrs. a day. Sorry but I have never heard of such a thing-this is a definite microsoft issue with frontpage not a power system issue.

What exactly is happening, are you getting error messages when saving?

Have you tried basic stuff (I call it check the stupid stuff first)...dump temp files, including FP's, scandisk, defrag....?
