can't save contact information

Some contacts e-mailed me their contact information and when i click on save
and close, it doesn't save it. I even made up a mock one and sent it to
myself, deleted it form my contact folder and tried to save and close it and
it didn't save. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
 
Try dragging the contact to a folder or using File | Copy to Folder instead.
