Can't run or install .exe

I just cleaned my pc of a virus and a trojan, and since then everytime I try to open an application that was newly installed (game download, pcbugdoctor), I get the following error signature..

AppName: avg6574fu_free.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: nview.dl
ModVer: 6.13.10.2832 Offset: 00009a3

O

AppName: fxmimail.exe AppVer: 1.1.1.0 ModName: nview.dl
ModVer: 6.13.10.2832 Offset: 00009a3

Can anyone tell me what is going on? I was also having trouble with all of my MS updates...the Self-Extracting Cabinet wouldn't open..

I also had the self extracting cabinet problem when installing MS updates. No luck though finding a resolution yET.
