can't run directx diag.

when i try to to run a directx diagnostic test (run,
dxdiag, ok), i get an error telling me that dxdiagn.dll is
not a valid windows image. this is causing a conflict in
some of my progs that require dx9, because they use the
dxdiag to verify dx9 before contuing. if you can help
pleasse feel free to email me.

Do you have DirectX 9.0b installed on your computer.
