CANT RESTORE OR DEFRAG .IS IT MY VOLUME C"\???

i ran disk chk its ok

i have no viruses

cleaned out my system,

i have no xp cd disk

i cant do a system restore

when i try to defrag its says- defrag complete but some files were not able to chk due to volume entry, what ever that means

XP cant defrag everything,it cant defrag the page file (virtual memory
unless its uninstalled from C:,try running cmd prompt,typeefrag C
Run disk cleanup before defrag.XP cd doesnt control restore,nor is it needed
try turning off restore in system properties,restart computer,restart restore an
create a restore point.By the way,youll need xp cd at some point !!!
