Can't restart after installing SP2

B

Bob Royce

I get the following error message:

Stop: c0000135 (unable to locate on PC winsrv was not
found reinstalling application may fix problem)

Anyone have any clues, I can't find any reference to this
in Microsoft support.

That error means the 'winsrv.dat' or 'winsrv.dll' file is missing or
corrupt in the Windows\System32 folder, or more likely that
the registry is corrupt.
