Can't reset screen resolution (ME) if set to 480*640 and large fon

My elderly mother chose large fonts and 480 by 640 resolution. The
combination is too big. I would reset the screen resolution except that the
apply, OK and cancel buttons are off the bottom of the screen and there is
no way to page down/mouse down the screen, since there are no slide bars on
the side. How else can I reset? Is there a way to do this from the command
prompt?
