Can't remove software

I recently installed software called Pixela ImageMixer. I
tried to reinstall it because it wasn't working
correctly, but now it seems to be partially stuck on my
computer. I've tried removing it using the Add or Remove
Programs utility, but it stays in the list of programs
after I uninstall it, and when I try to remove it again
it does the same thing. I've done a search for the
software on my computer but didn't find anything.

The program is only in the Add or Remove Programs list,
and when I try to install from the CD that the program
came on it brings me to the uninstallation process, which
does nothing. So now I can't use it at all.

Is there any other way I can remove this program? I
really want to use it.

I've already deleted everything related to the program
that I can, but it is still listed in the Add or Remove
Programs list. Because of this, it seems, when I try to
install the software it only asks if I want to uninstall
it. I can't remove this program from the listing.

Delete the program folder for the application > C: Drive > Program Files.
Restart > Install back the program and uninstall again. If that does not
work, try it in Safe Mode.

Have you tried going to the dos prompt and looking for
the directory the program created? if you find it delete
it.

Go into the registry. Go to Start | Run | Regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Expand this branch and look for the particular installation. Once you
find it, right click on it in the left window and select export. Save
the exported key somewhere in case a problem arises and you need to
restore it. Then right click again and delete the entry.

The installation is actually not listed in that location,
so I can't delete it.

Goodness, is there ANYTHING that will get rid of this?
Will a system restore do anything? I don't understand why
I can't remove this dumb program, and it's starting to
seem hopeless.
