Cant Remove Quik Launch Icons

Does having 16 icons icons in the quick launch slow windows from starting
up and
running. How do you remove them,I have the taskbar unlocked and i have tried
dragging them also left clicking on them but that gives otions of content of
the icon.

Icons representing programs in the QuickLaunch bar do not slow down the
starting of Windows - it is the number of programs in the startup folder.

Right click and choose delete or if you want to move them - choose CUT and
then pste them where you wish to save them.
