can't remove dead DC from AD

My secondary DC crashed. Hardware was repaired and server was rebuilt
from scratch as a new DC (new name). Problem: entry for DC which was
removed from network can't be deleted from AD. Automatically generated
replication connection with primary DC won't stop trying to connect to
nonexisting machine. How can I clear the entry from AD and delete the
replication partnership with the primary DC?
