Can't remove a program from Add/ Remove(XP)

Help ! I'm having trouble removing a program from
Add/remove in XP.
I get an error message....saying....WISE
UNINSTALL...could not open INSTALL.LOG FILE.
I have no idea what this is all about but would
appreciate some help if you have had this problem.

It probably means the path to the uninstall log file is wrong or the
uninstall log file does not exist. You may have to install the
program over itself before you can remove it. Without an uninstall
log file or other similar information, the uninstall routine will not
know which files and registry entries to remove.
