Sometimes when I try to use this program I get this
message back. Wise Uninstall-Install.Log cannot be
found. OR sometimes I get Unwise.exe. I just want to
remove a certain program.
Wise makes a program installer that's widely used. It creates an
uninstaller that's called "unwise". That's why you'll see links to
unwise.exe in many uninstall entries in the Control Panel applet.
So you're trying to uninstall something, and the CP Applet is trying
to call the proper unwise.exe, and it's not there. Probably you (or
somebody) already deleted the program's directory. This leaves entries
in the registry that the uninstaller (unwise.exe, in this case) is
supposed to clean up. You could reinstall the software, then run the
uninstaller, that's probably the safest way out.
