I am trying to do a repair install for XP Pro. It gets to the point
where it's installing devices and asks me for an Nvidia Nforce Network
adaptor inf. At that point I loose my keyboard and mouse because they
are both USB. My computer is a shuttle and the only access is USB or
Firewire, there are no PS2 plugs. Does anyone have a suggestion or
solution. Even if I had the CD with the driver I wouldn't be able to
click ok once I put it in the CD drive.

Is there an option in your BIOS to turn on/off "Legacy USB Support"?
Changing this might help. It may also help to change it's setting
between high speed and full speed (USB 1.1 and 2.0)?

You might also want to try to skip the network adapter install, and leave
it to install later after you get the rest of the repair install done.
If there is a choice to skip it while the keyboard still works, try that.
If it is a plug-in card, you could remove it while you do the install, or
if it is onboard the motherboard, you could disable it. This might let
you get everything else set up (especially the USB drivers), then do the
network adapter later.

One more thought - is your CD drive USB or IDE? If USB, maybe it is
stopping the keyboard for some reason when it tries to scan for the CD.
