Can't recieve email

worked fine for 1 1/2 years then yesterday I recieved this error

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'mail.connections-etc.net', Server:
'mail.connections-etc.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '+OK 621372
octets', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I have trend micro pc-cillin and I tried turning off e-mail scanning, but
same error occrured. Any Ideas?

Hi, Adam.

Yes, I see that message quite often. It usually means that there was some
kind of glitch on the SERVER end of your connection. As the message says,
it often is caused by "server problems [or] network problems". You can't
do anything to fix it on your end - and if you try, you may just mess up
something. But the glitch usually is a momentary thing and an immediate
retry will go through with no hassle.

If the retry doesn't work - repeatedly - then you may need to discuss it
with your ISP.

If the problem does not correct itself, do a trial uninstall of your
Trend Micro antivirus. It has been implicated in quite a few Windows Mail
problems. Just turning off its scanning is often not sufficient to eliminate
all its bad effects on Windows Mail.
