Can't read HTML formatted messages

Installed Outlook 2007 yesterday. Today I can't read messages that I have
received that are formatted in HTML

Why not? Are they suddenly in another language?
 
Are they simply blank? IF so, disable the email scanning feature in your anti-virus software. (For example, in AVG, uncheck certify under the email scanning settings.) You'll still be protected by its other features and by Outlook's own security.
