cant print text

when printing web pages, etc the printer works fine. I
have an HP 722c. Went to HP website and used their
diagnostic and driver and connection is fine. In office I
cannot print text, although graphics print perfectly. I
can also print a test page, with not problem. Any help
would be appreciated, this is getting frustrating.
 
With which application are you trying to print the text file? Are you using
File, Print and selecting the Printer or using the Print icon on the
taskbar?
 
The result is the same either way.

And you do have plenty of black ink in a genuine manufacturer's cartridge?
 
Check if text exist in Print Preview. If it does, please update printer
driver, otherwise, please check fonts settings.
