Windows Me, IE6, Brother USB printer, all with all updates. Spooler set to
RAW.
Ran IE repail tool. Tried a diferent printer and driver.
When I try to print from "File" and then "Print" nothing happens. If I
click on the print icon sometimes I get an error message:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 1189
Char: 1
Error: Access is denied
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dlg

Anyone have an idea for a fix?

HI,
Hope you accept my approximate english. I'd like to share my own experience
with that issue i've not yet solved too.

I'm facing exactly the same situation as you do with Outlook Express6, with
the same message. But when I try to print a web page under IE6 it's somewhat
different.
On a print preview I only see the letter P on top of page, the number 1 on
bottom, and a tiny condensed rectangle in the center. The black hole of
astronomers. On two different devices it prints exactly as it displays.

This unexpectedly happened under 98SE, after years of fair operation. I
tried to fix with use of my original CD, but nothing changed, supposedly
because the CD includes an older IE release. I also uncessfully tried to
update my IE6 and ran some repair tools for IE, and spybot and others.

Then I duplicated my system and data on a second partition, using Partition
Magic. On this new partition I upgraded to XP Pro, expecting a fix of the
problem through the system change, at least inside the printing function.
Nothing good happened.

Now I both run 98SE and XP Pro without OE and web page printing capability.
I posted twice on this group a pair of weeks ago, but none suggested a
solution.
Pse note i'm afraid of working the registry when necessary.
