Cannot Print from IE6

G

Guest

Whenever I try to print a webpage from IE6 or an e-mail message in Outlook or
Outlook Express, I get the following message:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 228
Char: 1
Error: Incompatible version of the RPC stub.
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dlg

I have downloaded and installed SP1, but it did not contain Scren56en.cab
nor, therefore, the updated version of dispex.dll which is what I think I
need. Any suggestions?

Thanks Frank. I tried the things suggested, they didn't work.
Any other suggestions?

Some of those suggestions were conditional so you could aid your
cause by discussing the details you found, what you decided, and
what you did with them.

In particular the last link in the section leads to

<a name="rpc">Incompatible version of RPC Stub</a>
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers_5.htm#rpc

What did you do there?

Notice for one thing in there
"Fix 3: Update your MS scripting engine:"
which contains links which would require you to make a decision
based on your OS (which you have not as yet revealed to us.)

Assuming that was a typo for scr56en.cab be aware that that would
not be the correct file to be looking for on an NT-based OS.
