Script Error-Cannot print from I.E.

Hi,
I'm running Windows ME and recently upgraded to I.E. 6.0. Ever since then I
can't print from the web or my outlook express. I receive the following
script error: Internet Explorer Script Error, line 228 char. 1
error.incompatible version of RPCstub code. 0 url.
res//c:windows\system\shdoclc/preview.dlg. I tried replacing and registering
the Dispex.dll file but didn't see to do anything. I can't really find much
for support online. I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks.
Linda

Hi Linda :)

res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg error:

You may need to update your printer driver. Go to the website for your
printer and download and install the most recent driver for that printer for
your OS.

You should also visit the Windows Update site and let it scan for any needed
updates and in stall them. There may be some updates you need after your
IE6 upgarde.

This error can be caused by adware. If still no joy, do the following:

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab
Uncheck the option for "Enable third-party browser extensions"
Click Apply
Click OK
Close the browser.
Restart the browser and attempt to print

If this resolves your problem, then you have some form of scumware on your
system, so you need to do the following to clean it from your system:
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:

Be aware, there are many types of scumware that your antivirus and some
removal tools cannot detect or remove. Therefore, use the programs as
described in the instructions here. Some variants can continue to replicate
themselves each time your computer starts up if not properly removed.

Hope this helps.
